College starts again...

And like I said, for the last time and it started last week as well. However, my final semester of college may be the hardest as I'm taking English (ugh...), World History, the Physical Science lab course (couldn't take it last year due to schedule conflicts), and Public Speaking since I still have a few problems when it comes to giving presentations in front of a group of people. Public Speaking will probably be my only course that will give me a bit of a break, but the rest will have me work hard. Talk about a way to finish off college, heh.

Hope I can get through this without much stress.

Back from vacation

Well, the vacation in Vegas was good and there were a few things that happened differently this time. First off, I definitely got more pictures taken, which I will be uploading to a photo site soon. Next, got to see a show this time which was the variety show "V" in Planet Hollywood, and it was a good show! Check it out if you ever get the chance to in Vegas. Lastly, for the first time in all the times I've went to Vegas, a fire alarm went off and the hotel had to be evacuated. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious in the end, but the whole place knew someone sucked at making popcorn.

Other than those things, I did win some money, but I also ended up getting a bit of a sunburn as well. Still, it was a good vacation.

I'm quickly getting most of my stuff packed for the vacation to Vegas tomorrow, trying to make sure I have everything I can pack right now accounted for before I get picked up to go to the PS party tonight.

Yeah, didn't mean to not update about what's going on with my life everyone, but to tell the truth, nothing much has been going on really other than the routine of work, coming home, and either just relaxing or playing a game. Still, there are a few things I will talk about.

First off, I found out a few weeks ago that my college is raising their fees AGAIN. This completely ticked me off and with this upcoming semester having the remainder of the core classes, I will be finished with college after this coming semester. I plan on later on in my life to look into a tech college to finish my education in web page design, but that's only when I can handle it financially.

Also, starting on August 9 and until the 13th, I will be on vacation with my folks in Vegas. The resort my folks had a share in has been completed and we will be staying there no charge. I'll try to get pics this time now that my camera isn't being used by someone else.

And that's pretty much it. I'll try to post more updates about my life, but again, things are pretty much quiet over here.

Yep, early today I had my remaining 2 finals for Art Appreciation and Intro to Photoshop. Art Appreciation had a mini-essay for the final (Ugh...), and Intro to Photoshop was just a take home final that I just needed to drop off. Now all that's left is just the wait for my grades, but I'm just glad I don't have to worry about classes for quite a while.

Califur con report

All in all, this was a pretty good con in my opinion. First off, the new hotel was much, MUCH, better. They were definitely more welcoming and helpful, unlike that other hotel that will not be mentioned anymore. The furry variety show was pretty good, and 2's show was awesome and I'm glad I finally got to see him live. And of course, I and Miles were glad to see the Tetris Attack tournament on Saturday having such a turnout on such short notice.

However, there were still a few problems, like registration having problems, but some of it was due to tech problems and I completely understand that technology likes to have Murphy's Law happen to it at the worst times, and the cabaret show started way behind time due to some miscommunication between the hotel and con staff, but those will definitely be ironed out come next year. Other than that, the only thing I hope they do is have some more events and panels, especially tournaments since the Tetris Attack tournament me and Miles did was the only one that happened and it will be coming back next year.

Still, this con was about seeing and hanging out with friends and meeting new ones too, and that's what really made this con for me. I'll definitely be coming back in 2010.
