I'm very glad to have been able to commission these artists for my first group of badges at FC, and I'm looking forward to getting a few more next year.

Overall, despite a few bummers, I had a blast at my first con. I admit that I am still feeling a bit of that post-con depression since it all just passed by so fast. Now I have to wait until the room block opens up for FC 2009 so I can see if I can get a spot in someone's room, followed by a ride to and from FC (Again, I'm not one to wait until the last minute. I'd rather get those things done so I can just focus on how much money I need to bring). I'm also looking forward to Big Blue Fox's FC 2008 video to see if I can spot myself in any of it.

Tomorrow I'll put up scans of the con badges that I commissioned.

Yep, just arrived back home safely here in Moreno Valley after having a blast at FC. I'll be posting a con report later on, but right now I'm going to quickly put all the pictures I've taken onto my hard drive and then put them on Photobucket, followed by getting some sleep.

Thought I should make one final pre-FC post and give a little info about myself since this is my first con.

To spot me, I'll be wearing my grey Ratchet & Clank baseball cap, watch, jeans, wolf tail (commissioned, will be getting that Thursday around noon), and varying t-shirts. Those shirts are my brown Mythbusters "Undeniably Nerdy" shirt, my grey shirt with the face of a grey wolf on the front, two Sonic the Hedgehog shirts, and my black Legend of Zelda themed shirt. You also may see me occasionally playing my blue DS as well.

Feel free to say hi and introduce yourself if you see me somewhere, since this is my first con and I don't really know a lot of other furs.

I've started packing to make sure that nothing gets forgotten. The only things that are not being packed right now are the few chargers that I'll have to bring. Those won't be packed until Tuesday.

In other news, looks like my grandmother isn't heading back to Ohio just yet. The yard sale that she had last Saturday didn't go so well so she decided that she'll be coming back here on Monday or Tuesday after she's done visiting my relatives in Arizona right now, so I'll hopefully see her one more time and help her out a bit before I get picked up for FC on Wednesday.

Not too much time left now!

Just finished talking with the fur that's giving me a ride to FC. Looks like I'll be arriving at the Doubletree late Wednesday the 23rd/early Thursday the 24th. I also retrieved my sleeping bag from the garage earlier (I guess I spoke too soon when I said I wasn't going to have to dig around the garage back in July since I forgot where it was put) since I'll be sleeping on the floor of the room I'm in so I've got that ready too.

Man, the excitement for my first con is really building now.

Today I had my vacation time that I requested to go to FC 2008 given the green light by my manager, so another of what I thought to be major obstacles for my first furry con is gone. All that's left is to make sure I bring a good amount of money (I've got about $400 saved up and I'm hoping to bring that up further but who knows with Christmas coming up soon).

Also, as a side note, I took a quick look at my calender and realized that finals are almost a month away.
