All this because of a little slip of paper...

I just came back from my local Gamestop after putting down a reservation on Burnout Dominator and let me say that I have never felt so relieved in my life after what I witnessed.  What happened was that this guy came in with his son and wanted to return a used game because the disc was not working, but the problem was that he did not have his receipt with him, so the employee he was talking to told him that it could not be returned without a receipt.  The guy then argues that it still had the stickers with the barcode on it showing it came from Gamestop, but the employee said that only the receipt matters for returns.  All of a sudden, this guy goes livid and starts yelling at him, probably trying to scare the guy into doing the return.  I'll tell you right now, I started to get the felling that soon this guy would grab the employee by the collar or something with the way he was going off.  Not only that, I wondered what the kid was thinking as he saw his dad doing this.  Thank god another employee got the manager and an understanding was met before things got any worse.

This is why I always follow the "whatever can go wrong, will" rule and save my receipts.
